Glitz, As Nosak Farm Produce Celebrates Employees For End Of The Year

A typical manufacturing environment is associated with loud sounds of machines and operational activities. This usual scenario was put on hold when the management of Nosak Farm Produce Limited (NFPL) organized an end of year party and award evening to celebrate as well as appreciate employees for year-end.

The event was not a day for the usual factory clothes and safety boots as employees came out in their traditional outfits. Suffice to say that the Benin Kingdom was highly represented when the Group Executive Director (GED), Oil & Fats, Osaheni Ogunbor was seen in the grandeur of the traditional Benin attires.

The event was not a time for the usual long speeches as said by the Managing Director, Robert Ogirri who appreciated the entire staff members for their resilience and dedication to work during the year.

As a way of appreciation, some staff members were recognized by the GED for their long services in the company. The first category was for employees who have served for six years. These include Odili O. Matthew, Senior Staff in Operations; Matthew Okorie, Junior Staff and Stella Ukhurebor, Senior Staff both in Administration. The second category was for those who have served for five years, which includes Bunmi Adelowo, Senior Staff; Emenike Obinna, Senior Staff; Stewat Alexander, Junior Staff, and Orji Lawrence, Junior Staff all in Operations.

Some other employees were recognized for outstanding performances and they were awarded in tandem with the core values of the company. Olubunmi Adelowo received the Award of Excellence for quality control; Ebuka Nnadi was awarded as the Best Supporting and Improved staff of the year, while Olayinka Saulabiu from Marketing received the award of Brand Ownership for being passionate about the Famili brand.

Other awardees were Patience Garbutt from Administration as the Team Player of the year, Victor Njoku of the Audit received an award of Integrity while Christopher Okeke of the security received an award of Adaptable and Aggressive personnel of the year.

Employees were also recognized for best dressed in the male and female categories; Benjamin Eluenelem (Bayelsa tradition) and Stella Ukhurebor (Benin tradition) went home with the awards.

A special award tagged the MD’s award was presented to Cletus Agbokhaode of the Finance Department. He went home with a cash gift from the MD.

The event was also a day to discover talents as Patience Garbutt serenaded staff members with a live performance of her studio album while Peter Aniete thrilled guests with rib-cracking jokes.
