Premier Plantations Limited was incorporated in 2018 to carry out the business of farming, with focus on the cultivation of cassava and other feedstocks required in the production of ethanol. The crust of the plantation is the cultivation of cassava, and the conversion of same into ethanol through the process of fermentation to produce crude ethanol. The denatured ethanol derived is expected to feed the 150,000 litres per day cassava-to-ethanol refinery of Nosak Distilleries for onward distillation and supply to the industrial and retail end-users.

With the plantation, Premier Plantations Limited will explore other opportunities in the cassava value chain including the processing of garri, high-quality cassava flour and starch production.

To maximize yield and output, we also manage the cassava out-growers’ schemes in collaboration with the Nigeria Cassava Growers Association, and coordination of aggregators for small holder cassava farmers to provide feedstock for our operations.
