Saturn Farms Limited is a symbol of the Nosak Group’s commitment to the agricultural sector of the Nigerian economy. Agriculture remains the mainstay of the generality of Nigerians though largely at the subsistence level.
The farm was first established in 1991 to explore and make an impact in cash cropping, massively developing its farmlands up till 2004. Today, the farm is a forward-integrated agro-allied company under Nosak Group. Its main thrust is integrated oil palm plantation.
Our Oil Palm plantation seats on a total land area of about 550 hectares located in Ukhiri village, about 4Km off the Benin-Abraka Road, about 15Km south-east of Benin City in Edo State, Nigeria. At the heart of the plantation is a 5 metric tonnes per day palm oil milling plant producing the Famili Palm Oil brand.
We have an extended plantation of about 400 hectares of farmland at Obagie-Nevbosa village along Sapele Road, near Benin City.
Our farms currently employ about 200 workers of various grade and plans to double the number when the extension program of the mill is implemented.
We are deepening our operations with the backward integration scheme to cultivation additional 10,000 hectares of land in Edo State for palm oil plantation and other ancillary products. This will see to the upgrade and expansion of the mill to 10 metric tonnes daily to accommodate optimum processing of FFB from other plantations.
