Deji Rahman is the Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) of Nosak Group. Appointed to this role in May 2023, Rahman is responsible for implementing key business strategies, optimizing operational capabilities, and building a sustainable corporate organization.

Education and Professional Affiliations

He holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Economics from the University of Lagos. He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria, the Nigerian Economic Society, and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations. He has

undertaken both basic and advanced management trainer development courses at the Centre for Management Development (CMD).

Career Progression

Deji joined Nosak Group in 2014 as Group Head of Strategy. In this role, he led the restructuring of the company’s business focus towards three strategic sectors: starch and derivatives, oils and fats, and treasury and asset management. In 2022, he was appointed as Group Chief Strategy Officer, further strengthening the organization’s strategic position.

Prior to his tenure at Nosak Group, Rahman held various positions in the media and financial sectors. He served as Head of the Capital Market at Business Times Newspaper (part of the Daily Times Group), Head of Research at Financial Standard Newspaper, Head of Research and Strategy at F & C Securities Limited (now FCSL Asset Management), and Coordinator of Market Research & Intelligence in the Strategy Group at Fidelity Bank Plc.

Strategic Contributions

Deji has led and participated in several strategic and transformation initiatives, including the Fidelity Bank SME project. His influence on Nosak Group’s strategic repositioning and his contributions to the implementation of organizational goals have been instrumental in his rise to the role of GCOO.

Under his strategic foresight, Nosak Group continues to strengthen its position in Nigeria’s key economic sectors, contributing to the nation’s development and economic growth.
