Eki Ogunbor is an award-winning writer, editor, and content creator, with over 10 years of experience. She’s worked with notable media platforms like BellaNaija, where she launched the BellaNaija Style website in 2017 as the Founding Editor; Today’s Woman Magazine, as a Contributing Editor and member of its Advisory Board; and currently, TheWill Downtown, as Lifestyle Editor at Large.

She holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from the University of Kent and is a distinguished alumna of Condé Nast College, where she obtained a Vogue Fashion Certificate.

Eki is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer at KISARA, a womenswear accessories brand that is a testament to her commitment to the flourishing African fashion industry. KISARA gained widespread acclaim after its runway debut at Lagos Fashion Week in 2018. Eki is also the brain behind FashionVerse Africa, a new media platform spotlighting African creatives in fashion and entertainment.

With almost 100k followers across social media platforms, Eki has collaborated with brands such as Standard Chartered, Chivita, Fidelity Bank, MAC Cosmetics, Lancôme, Andrea lyamah, Atafo, and Clinique, among others. She sits on the Advisory Committee for Beauty in Lagos (BIL Beauty Awards). She also supports impactful non-profit organizations like The Candlelight Foundation, a daily soup kitchen initiative; and Women at Risk International Foundation (WARIF), a center raising awareness for and tackling gender-based violence.

When she’s not writing or creating content, Eki spends her time speaking about the creative industry in Africa, sharing her knowledge and perspective with audiences at events like Africa NXT (formerly Social Media Week Lagos); BellaNaija Style Digital Summit; and the Richer Woman Conference.
